Job description

1. To protect different parts of 5 Upazilas of Bandarban district from erosion of the Sangu and Matamuhuri rivers by implementing river bank protection work under the project.


2. Improving water capacity and irrigation facilities of Sangundi (4.5 km) and Matamuhuri rivers (4.41 km) through dredging and flood control.


3. To create a safety net by constructing a floodwall cum walkway for the purpose of flood control and beautification.


4. Development of group-centric tourism and recreational facilities through construction of ecotourism centers.


5. Environmental and ecological conservation.


6.Eviction of illegal installations for project implementation and beautification.
